Job Title: Payroll Tax Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Tax Analyst to ensure accurate payroll tax balancing and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external agencies to provide exceptional tax services and guidance.

Responsibilities

+ Balance payroll taxes to 941 forms and ensure accuracy.

+ Follow up with relevant personnel to verify that correct taxes are deducted from associates.

+ File taxes correctly according to locality.

+ Provide outstanding tax services support by responding to and researching tax inquiries.

+ Responsible for quarterly tax balancing and filing of tax returns in all jurisdictions.

+ Reconcile 941 tax forms.

+ Engage in frequent communication with customers and taxing agencies to resolve tax notices.

+ Prepare and submit amended reports as needed.

+ Provide tax guidance to clients and the internal organization.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with payroll tax, tax filings, and tax returns.

+ Proficiency in using ADP Vantage for tax filings.

+ Ability to reconcile 941 and 940 tax forms.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ ADP experience is strongly preferred.

+ Payroll certifications, such as CPP, are preferred.

Work Environment

The position is based in a shared service environment within the regional corporate headquarters, where you will work alongside 28 payroll associates. The work setting is high-volume and fast-paced, requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Addison, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
