    Hormel Foods – Food Safety & Quality Auditor II

     

    Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 5:00AM-2:00PM; extended hours and weekends may be required)

    Responsibilities

    + Complete daily weight/product checks, label verifications, scale calibrations, and Oven/Chiller calibrations

    + Complete additional job duties as assigned by the FSQ (Food Safety Quality) Manager

    + Following proper procedures, attention to detail, and accuracy of paperwork

    + Foster an engaged, team-oriented workforce to improve business results.

    + Excellent communication skills are necessary

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + The ability to read and write to accurately complete job-related paperwork.

    + Lead and manage team members to achieve quality goals.

    + Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    + Perform repetitive hand & wrist motion throughout a shift.

    + Lift/push/pull 50+lbs as required (Occasional)

    + Twist and bend the body as necessary to perform job related tasks.

    + Kneel/squat as necessary to complete job-related tasks.

    + Grasping & pinching motions to complete job-related tasks

    + Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.

    + Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

    + Must be 18 years of age or older

    Preferred:

    + Food/Meat manufacturing experience

    Training

    + On the Job training provided

    Work Environment

    + Position requires working in temperatures below 40°F.

    + Standing/walking on concrete for a majority of the work day

    Compensation & Benefits

    + Pay: $22.00 per hour, 1.5 times rate for hours worked over 40 in a week
