**Exciting Opportunity** : We’re looking for a Clinical Trials Nurse to join our inpatient team! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering comprehensive patient care, applying your expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatments in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

You Will:

+ Work within a Nurse-Physician-based Inpatient Practice Model

+ Facilitate the accrual of appropriate patients to clinical trials.

+ Coordinate patient care activities and participate in the conduct of studies for patients enrolled in clinical trials for (insert service).- various services

+ Educate those patients and their families regarding clinical trials in general and the specifics of the proposed clinical trial.

+ Provide as an integral member of the clinical research team to research study participants' direct nursing care, patient and study assessments, education, and patient/ family support.

+ Collaborate with the principal investigator to review new protocols from a nursing perspective and participate in a multidisciplinary discussion for approval.

+ Implement the standards for research protocols in compliance with regulatory, institutional, and external agencies.

+ Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care to patients throughout various stages of treatment on protocol and follow-up.

+ Collaborate closely with members of the clinical research team across the MSK enterprise to manage protocol patients and coordinate care

You Need:

+ New York State RN license and BSN

+ Three years of clinical nursing experience

+ 1.5 – 2 years of oncology experience preferred

+ Clinical research nursing experience preferred

+ Proficiency with clinical and office software (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)

+ BCLS

Additional Information:

+ **Hours:** 4 x 10 hour shifts Monday - Friday; No holidays or weekends

+ **Location:** Inpatient (Main Campus - 1275 York Avenue)

Pay Range: $110,700.00 - $177,100.00

FSLA Status: Exempt
