*Telemetry & Thoracic/Cardiovascular Unit*

This unit provides specialized care for patients with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular conditions. Services include continuous telemetry monitoring, post-operative care for heart and lung surgeries, and comprehensive recovery support. The team uses advanced technology and a multidisciplinary approach to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

*The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably at least one year of recent experience working in direct patient care. Must be able to work 7pm-7am, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am, including rotating weekends and holidays.*

Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse.

Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.

Essential Job Functions

Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs. Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. Updates and retrieves patient information. Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Acts as part of an assigned care team.

Other duties as assigned.

* Preferred: One year of inpatient hospital experience.
