Educational Diagnostician | Cedar Hill, TX | $52/hr | Full-Time | 28-Week Contract

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking an Educational Diagnostician to assess and diagnose learning challenges for students in elementary and middle school settings. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Diagnostician will help determine placement and provide support for students with learning disabilities.

Position Overview

+ Location: Cedar Hill, TX

+ Grade Levels: Elementary & Middle School

+ Start Date: December 1, 2025 (ASAP start possible)

+ End Date: May 23, 2026

+ Duration: 28 weeks

+ Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 8:00am–4:30pm; Friday | 8:00am–4:00pm

+ Modality: Hybrid (4 days in-person, 1 day virtual)

+ Work Hours: 40 hrs/week

+ Caseload: 85–90 students

+ Pay Rate: $52/hr

Responsibilities

+ Conduct initial evaluations and reevaluations for students suspected of having disabilities

+ Prepare evaluation reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines

+ Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, including scheduling and presenting results

+ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and campus staff to develop appropriate IEPs

+ Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with timelines and district standards

Requirements

+ Master’s degree preferred

+ Teaching experience preferred

+ Certification as required by state and/or contract regulations

+ Current CPR, TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate (if required)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Minimum age: 18
