Echo Cardiographer Technician

Under general supervision, performs vascular and echocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients. Participates in a variety of specialized technical evaluation procedures, including analyzing digitized electrocardiography (ECG) tapes, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography, and generating quantitative arrhythmia reports.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Associate’s degree or experience in a related field preferred and/or per state requirements
+ One (1) year of experience as a Cardiovascular technician preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
Required Certifications/License
Must be RDS or RDMS certified, at least 1 year of cardiac sonography
Must be open to Temp to Perm
Shift (start/end times, days of week, etc.)
7am - 5:30pm or 6:45am - 5:15pm
4x10's
Day Shift
Will know exact days during interview
closed weekends and holidays.
Minimum Skill Set
2 + years of cardiac sonograph
EMR and Equipment Used
Philips machine, EPIC EMR and PiCom PACS
Extension Available
Temp to perm after 26 weeks
