    New Jersey Resources is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead our financial forecasting process, budgeting process and all relevant business analysis. The role is responsible for strategic and financial planning, economic and financial modeling, evaluating the impact of corporate strategies and internal financial reporting. The manager will serve as a key business partner, communicating financial results and concepts while collaborating with senior management.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage complex financial and economic models.

    • Partner with the business to provide financial guidance and strategic recommendations.

    • Develop medium and long-term financial planning and sensitivity analysis.

    • Evaluate various business performance and transactions from a financial perspective, placing them into the context of market conditions.

    • Develop insights and narrative through reporting/analysis to provide business partners and executive management tools for decision making.

    • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models.

    • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to improve financial performance.

    • Identify trends and recommend actions based on sound analysis.

    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or related field.

    • Minimum of 10 years of related experience.

    • Ability to think strategically and present complex data and ideas creatively and coherently.

    • Expert level financial modeling and data analytics skills.

    • Ability to manage a team to deliver a variety of financial and business analyses.

    • Ability to recommend ways to maximize efficiency and effectiveness through enhanced use of software.

    • Ability to develop productive relationships with both internal clients and external vendors and stakeholders.

    Job Location Type is Hybrid.

     

    Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $115,900- $147,700.

     

    Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.

     

    This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
