AmergisEducational Staffing ispartnered with a school in Brockton, MA who is currently seeking an ElementaryOccupational Therapist to work with students on a contractual basis.
Details ofthe Position Include:
+ Pay Rate: $65/hour (based on experience)
+ Start Date: 2 weeks from offer accepted
+ Duration: 2025–2026 School Year
+ Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:45 AM – 3:30 PM
+ Requirements: Licensed Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts; experience with elementary school-aged children preferred
+ Description:
The Occupational Therapist supports students by promoting independence and participation in school activities. Responsibilities include evaluating students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills; developing individualized treatment plans; collaborating with teachers and families; and providing direct therapy and classroom strategies to help students access their curriculum. The OT also contributes to IEPs, monitors progress, and ensures compliance with state and district guidelines.
Caseload: 44 students, including 7 consults. Please note there is no flexibility on hours.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for performing student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice
+ One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
