Position Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst Supervisor leads the Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) team responsible for implementing and optimizing technology solutions that advance organizational operations and strategic objectives. This role sets team strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, assists in managing technology project portfolio, and provides both technical and functional guidance. The supervisor collaborates closely with IT solutions and business partners to ensure seamless communication, effective problem-solving, and continuous improvement in efficiency and productivity. This position also plays a key role in conveying and advancing the organizations technology vision and roadmap.

+ Build, mentor, and develop a skilled technical team of Business Systems Analyst, providing guidance on best practices, and fostering an environment of continuous learning, collaboration and professional growth.
+ Drive a focused culture through performance targets, regular performance reviews, one-on-one meetings, and goal planning to propagate positive team health and development.
+ Lead the analysis of existing business processes, systems, and information to drive business growth and productivity.
+ Serve as a key liaison between technical teams, business units, and vendors to understand requirements, define scope, and drive consensus.
+ Oversee contractual and operational working relationships with software vendors to ensure contractual commitments are delivered across technology implementations.
+ Provide functional and technical guidance, serving as a subject matter expert on systems and processes.
+ Troubleshoot system issues, provide user support, and lead planning of enhancements to maintain system accuracy, reliability, and security.
+ Foster a culture of strategic, multiyear planning to align business and technology initiatives.
+ Ensure that business needs are clearly defined, tracked, and resolved.
+ Implement and monitor strategies to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with regulations and policies.
+ Develop effective communication strategies that promote transparency and understanding for both Technology and business units.
+ Analyze, prioritize, and manage the backlog of proposed technology project ideas to ensure alignment with organizational goals and resource capacities; assisting with forecasting future capacity to support approval and prioritization processes.
+ Collaborate with Technology leaders and Enterprise Architect to ensure strategic alignment of all project backlog ideas.
+ Participate in various Steering Committee meetings, providing administrative support for record-keeping and follow-up with both attendees and non-attendees.
+ Demonstrated commitment to Grant PUD’s mission, vision, values, strategic plan, and Grant PUD / IBEW Local 77 Code of Excellence. The incumbent should be familiar with these organizational priorities and behave in a way that aligns with these expectations.
+ Understand and adhere to compliance requirements for this position that may include laws, regulations, security guidelines, Grant PUD policies & Procedures.
+ In this position, if needed to operate a GPUD vehicle for business purposes, please refer to the Vehicle/Asset Usage Policy, IS-TA-POL-001.
+ Actively participate in all aspects of our safety program, including but not limited to:o Following all safety policies and procedures.o Alerting supervisors and coworkers to unsafe or hazardous working conditions.o Reporting any safety incidents or close calls within 24 hours to your supervisor.o Accepting feedback from supervisors and coworkers regarding your own safety performance.

Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management or related field, or 2 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
+ Six (6) years work experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or closely related profession, including at least 1 year of experience leading people, projects, or cross functional work.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or SCRUM Master/Agile certification.
+ Strong project management skills and familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
+ Experience managing high-risk, high-visibility projects from inception to completion.
+ Experience working with project, portfolio, testing, and OCM techniques.
