    As the **Processing & Policyholder Services Support Associate** you will generate and administer portable and convertible individual policies for our group clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end Conversion and Portability key processes and leveraging this knowledge to create accurate policies for our customers. This includes applying all contract provisions and procedures ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all incoming correspondence, telephone calls, as well as the generation of bills/reconciliation of premium on all ported/converted individual policies.

    You are

    + A consumer centric, detail-oriented individual motivated by direct contact with customers to educate and issue policies and billing statements, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

    + Able to build relationships with customers and colleagues further fostering excellent customer service and teamwork

    You will

    + Reconcile and apply premium to individual policies to ensure accurate billing statements and accurate consideration of claim payments

    + Communicate with customers via phone and/or written correspondence to educate them on policy provisions, answer their inquiries and address outstanding premium payments

    + Process all incoming correspondence in a timely and accurate manner according to contractual policy provisions and legislative mandates

    + Collaborate across teams to resolve customer requests timely

    You have

    + High school diploma required

    + 2 years of experience, preferably in banking, billing, insurance or equivalent

    + Post high school education desirable

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

    + Ability to work until 5:00 pm CST to support inbound calls

    + Availability to work overtime when experiencing high volume

    + The desire to build strong/meaningful consumer and colleague connections

    + Superior customer service skills and strong written and oral communication skills

    + Strong proficiency to multi-task, remain focused and agile

    Location

    + This is a remote role 0-10% travel

    Salary Range:

    $37,240.00 - $55,855.00

     

    The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
