    MVH - Scarborough is currently looking for an Activities Assistant. The Activities Assistant is responsible for providing meaningful activities to the residents and works collaboratively with the Activities Supervisor to maintain a steady flow of activities that are designed to meet the physical, mental, and social well-being of our residents.

     

    This is a full-time position.

    Requirements

    + Ability organize and direct small and large group activities

    + Interest in activities and working with the geriatric population

    + Must have flexibility to work some weekends and holidays

    + Geriatric activities experience preferred

    + CNA certification a plus

    + Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

    + Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.

    + Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.

    + Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.

    + Basic computer skills
