Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a strategic, hands-on Practice Administrator in Salisbury, MD to oversee the daily operations of our client's surgical center, medical spa, and practice. This leadership role is ideal for a healthcare operations expert who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and can balance high-level strategy with day-to-day execution.
You’ll manage three department leads and work closely with providers and staff to ensure operational excellence, financial health, and an exceptional patient experience across all service lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Oversight: Directly manage the OR Manager, Spa Manager, and Practice Manager to ensure alignment, accountability, and performance across departments
- Practice Operations: Oversee daily operations of the surgical center, med spa, and front office, ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Surgical Scheduling: Coordinate surgical calendars, optimize block time, and ensure seamless communication between providers, staff, and patients
- Financial Management: Assist with budgeting, revenue tracking, and expense control; monitor KPIs and financial performance
- Insurance & Private Pay: Oversee insurance verification, authorizations, and billing processes; manage private pay workflows and patient financial counseling
- Compliance & Accreditation: Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and state medical board regulations
- Staff Development: Conduct performance reviews, salary evaluations, and ongoing coaching for direct reports
- Patient Experience: Champion a high-touch, concierge-level experience across all patient interactions
- Marketing & Growth Support: Collaborate with leadership on marketing initiatives, promotions, and patient retention strategies
- Technology & Systems: Manage EMR, scheduling, and reporting platforms to support operational efficienc

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of healthcare/practice management experience
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and department heads
- Strong understanding of surgical workflows, med spa services, and patient care operations
- Experience with insurance billing, private pay models, and financial reporting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems and scheduling software
- Professional demeanor and commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences Experience in in plastic surgery, dermatology, or aesthetics
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
