Job Description
An Insight Global customer is looking to hire a Wastewater and Recycling Engineer for a new confidential project. This person will be the singular engineer on the Wastewater and Recycling team at this new facility. The team is about 20 people including a manager, chemist, supervisors and technicians. This role requires someone who is capable of installing and making improvements to chemical processing/quality/optimization tools such as water treatment units, chemical treatment reactors, compressors, sludge management tools, clarification tools and material handling tools such as grinders, mills, conveyers, evaporators, etc. This person will also be responsible for the overall chemical process design including facility piping, and system design.
This role will require regular travel during the first ~2 months on the job for training to the company's existing domestic manufacturing facilities, but travel will reduce to about 25% post training. This is a permanent, full-time role and we can offer a salary of $67,400 to $96,000 for the role. Exact compensation may vary based on education and experience.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar (requirement)
At least 3 years of engineering experience with chemical and material handling systems - i.e. system/process install and improvements to water treatment units, chemical treatment reactors, compressors, sludge management tools, clarification tools, grinders, mills, conveyers, evaporators, etc.
Experienced with developing and managing plant equipment preventative maintenance plans
Statistical analysis to diagnose and improve tool performance through tools such as Oracle
Experience managing tool installations and other projects through the full lifecycle of vendor selection, construction planning, and installation. Certifications related to wastewater, sanitation, recycling, environmental safety etc.
Experience with new plant start-up
