Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join Nutrien’s Digital HUB team, focusing on building innovative solutions for Farm and Field Management. This role will be instrumental in creating intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that empower growers and agronomists to make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable front-end applications for Nutrien’s Digital HUB using React Native and TypeScript.

Implement robust data-fetching and state management solutions leveraging GraphQL.

Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a strong emphasis on performance and accessibility.

Develop and maintain automated tests using Jest to ensure code quality and reliability.

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor junior engineers.

Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and best practices to continuously improve the platform.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.

- Strong proficiency in React Native, TypeScript, and GraphQL.

- Hands-on experience with Jest for unit and integration testing.

- Solid understanding of modern front-end architecture, responsive design, and performance optimization.

- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Pay range for this role starts at $60/hr - Familiarity with agricultural technology or SaaS platforms.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS preferred).

- Knowledge of accessibility standards and internationalization.
