Summary:
Meta seeks a skilled and highly motivated attorney to join the Technology Transactions and Global Procurement Legal team. In support of commercial transactions for the team, you will draft and negotiate commercial agreements that focus on AI compute and networking hardware systems and semiconductor development, manufacturing, and supply chain management for Meta’s global data center infrastructure. You will also advise clients on the various legal risks, business strategies and other issues related to commercial transactions and general operations. Required Skills:
Associate General Counsel, Infrastructure Technology Transactions (Supply Chain) Responsibilities:
1. Contract drafting, lead negotiation and advisory responsibilities for Meta’s Technology Transaction and Global Procurement Legal organization, including procurement of products and services from data center hardware, software and services vendors, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), Original Design Manufacturers (ODM), contract manufacturers (CM), silicon development and technology licensing, in addition to other complex partnerships and commercial arrangements
2. Influence and build relationships with clients and cross-functional peers across Meta to drive solutions to complex legal and commercial challenges
3. Drive continuous improvements to existing legal templates, legal and business processes, and legal support of the business
4. Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze and communicate legal risks
5. Provide legal and strategic business advice to help develop a comprehensive, long-term approach to our relationships with key vendors and partners
Minimum Qualifications:

6. Active membership in at least one US state bar and eligibility to obtain registered in-house counsel status (if required by the State Bar in the assigned work location)
7. J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent)
8. 8+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney, including at a global law firm and/or in-house or government experience
9. Experience leading negotiations with strategic partners and coordinating legal counsel across complex and multifaceted legal issues such as data protection and privacy, competition and other global legal frameworks
10. Experience drafting, negotiating and managing technology deals (e.g., technology licensing, hardware and software development agreements, master purchase agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, etc.)
11. Experience working on and managing numerous projects and deals simultaneously under competing deadlines while working effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally, exercising sound business judgment and being solution-oriented

12. Experience providing counsel to technology companies in the data center, networking, semiconductor or foundry spaces
13. Knowledge of semiconductor design and experience with technical hardware development and manufacturing
14. Experience drafting custom agreements from scratch (i.e. not from existing templates)
15. Proven communication skills, experience providing clear, concise and practical guidance
16. Proven organizational skills, experience managing multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines
Public Compensation:
$198,000/year to $266,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
