**Location:** Athens, GA | **Pay Rate:** $17/hour | **Schedule:** FT/Mon-Thu (5am - 3:30pm)

Are you an experienced Forklift Operator with a passion for safety, accuracy, and efficiency? At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re looking for driven individuals like you to power logistics and materials handling for leading companies in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining production flow by ensuring materials and products are moved, loaded, and unloaded safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll be responsible for more than just moving pallets. You’ll be a key player in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting operations by ensuring timely delivery of materials to the right place — all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials between workstations or storage areas

+ Load and unload materials at points of origin and destination

+ Use scanning technology and computers to track inventory movement and update systems

+ Execute paperwork and administrative tasks associated with shipments and deliveries

+ Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and work areas

+ Ensure proper handling and storage of materials in accordance with company standards

+ Follow all company safety guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Required:

+ Valid forklift operator license or certification

+ Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

+ Ability to read, write, and perform basic computer tasks (e.g., using scanners, PCs)

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

+ Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed

+ Flexibility to work varying shifts or overtime as required

Preferred:

+ Prior experience handling shipping/receiving paperwork

+ Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)

+ Basic understanding of inventory control processes

**Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour
