Job Summary:
The Finance Manager is responsible for being the primary liaison between Finance and the operational leaders to assigned service lines. In this role the Finance Manager performs monthly financial reporting, analysis, reconciliations, financial modeling and forecasting as well as providing support with annual operating and capital budget and other ad hoc support as needed.
Job Qualifications:
+ Perform ad-hoc financial data analysis, reconciliations, modeling, forecasting, and operational metrics tracking to identify trends and produce reports as needed to support management decision-making.
+ Analyze financial performance through monthly close summary file, tracking KPI’s and other key data points to monitor outcomes in census and operations against budgeted goals.
+ Provide detailed analysis and review for all business lines assigned, working with directors to share strategic recommendations of how to apply the findings and enable more streamlined operations, cost saving initiatives and increased productivity.
+ Support the annual budget process, collaborating with leadership and department heads throughout the budget cycle to build achievable strategic financial targets, driving process changes in new online cloud-based budget solution to keep up with changing organization dynamics and requirements.
+ Routinely meets with, communicates to, and builds positive relationships with management and department directors, encouraging inter-departmental collaboration and promoting synergetic growth.
+ Develop online month-end financial reports that is accessible for all department heads and leadership to review real-time financial data.
+ Create enhanced functionality in month-end department reporting to drill down on transactions, increasing visibility and transparency across leadership, fostering culture of ownership and accountability.
+ Work closely with directors before and during month-end to ensure financial accuracy and bridge gaps to understand drivers wedging actuals to budget.
+ Develop and maintain department-specific spend-down workbooks, enabling heads of department to take ownership of their expenses and set them up to successfully manage their budget.
Job Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in finance, accounting, or business administration. May consider other relevant degrees.
+ At least 5 years’ prior financial management experience required.
+ Some experience required with financial systems such as business intelligence and budgeting systems. Direct experience with Oracle Netsuite would be a differentiator.
+ Must have excellent analytical skills.
+ Advanced Excel skills required.
+ Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal.
