Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Low Voltage Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team delivering large-scale, technically complex projects. You will play a critical role in the design and coordination of low voltage systems—including fire alarm, security, telecommunications, audiovisual, and building management systems—for world-class facilities in the semiconductor, biotech, pharmaceutical, and advanced technology sectors.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and coordinate low voltage systems in compliance with client requirements, industry standards (NFPA, BICSI, TIA/EIA);
- Prepare design documentation including schematics, one-line diagrams, layout drawings, specifications, and technical reports;
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including architects, process engineers, and construction managers throughout all project phases; conceptual design, detailed design, construction documents, construction administration, and commissioning;
- Work with vendors and subcontractors to evaluate system components, submittals, and shop drawings;
- Conduct field inspections, site walks, and design verifications to ensure system installations meet design intent;
- Interface with clients to present designs, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions;
- Ensure compliance with Page’s project delivery standards, safety practices, and sustainability objectives.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools; familiarity with Navisworks and Bluebeam is a plus;
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards: NEC, NFPA 72/70, TIA/EIA, BICSI;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills;
- PE license or progress toward licensure is a plus;
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field;
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in low voltage system design, preferably within high-tech, industrial, or cleanroom environments.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather

**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
