As a Senior Marketing Technology & Data Consultant, you will drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making through the management of marketing programs, processes, and technology. This role ensures effective adoption of tools, process optimization, and data-driven insights to support global marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate has moderate-expert level expertise in marketing technologies, marketing data, program management and digital marketing acumen, and can utilize these skills in increasing the marketing impact on overall business goals.
What you will do:
+ Program & Process Management: Leads medium to large projects, with moderate to high complexity related to marketing workflows, marketing technology and/or development and adoption.
+ Analytics & Reporting: Analyze performance through key metrics, manage budget and reporting (using a mix of technologies such as Power BI, Excel and Salesforce). Provide input on strategy, suggesting adjustments and improvements.
+ Technology Administration: Own martech platforms (Workfront, Allocadia and others), integrations, and automation; ensure data quality and optimal utilization with the objective to improve marketing performance to achieve business objectives.
+ Strategy & Innovation: Evaluate marketing strategy; evaluate opportunities for increased marketing impact on business goals.
+ Training & Adoption: Promote best practices and deliver training both in-person and virtually to a globally based team.
What skills you will have:
**Technical Excellence:** Extensive experience in **strategic marketing operations, technology, and project management** . Certification or deep knowledge of **program management methods** (Agile, Six Sigma).
**Digital Marketing:** Expertise in **marketing tech platforms, integrations, and analytics tools** (Workfront, Allocadia and use of Salesforce, Power BI, Excel and all Microsoft Office Tools). Familiarity with **AI-driven marketing solutions** and process automation.
**Strategic Thinking:** Strong **process improvement and budget management experience** . Ability to impact strategy based on findings.
**Customer Focus:** Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized solutions.
**Creativity:** Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations.
**Effective Communications:** Excellent communication and training skills; ability to manage global stakeholders.
**Relationship Management:** Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
**Vendor/Supplier Management:** Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
Top candidates will also have:
Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Mining industry knowledge preferred. Caterpillar distribution model is highly desired.
Additional Information:
The primary work location for this role is either **Tucson, AZ** or **Peoria, IL** , with a requirement to work **on-site full-time** at a Caterpillar facility.
**Domestic relocation assistance** is available.
This position may require **up to 10 – 20 % travel** .
**Visa sponsorship, international assignments, or payroll transfers** are **not available** for this role.
Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
