Trainee Responsibilities:

+ Attend and complete the Certified Nurse Aide Training course, which addresses all areas of care rendered to a given population (i.e. geriatric) within the scope of practice of a Certified Nurse Aide. This will encompass biological, psychological and social elements at the beginning level in a health care setting where aides are employed

+ Complete work assignments, be prompt & prepared for class, and maintain excellent attendance.

+ Learn the skills and competencies required for a CNA in both a clinical and classroom setting.

+ Adhere to all facilities rules. Violators may be removed from the class at the discretion of the facility.

+ Do your best with our preparation assistance to pass the examination upon completion of the training.

What you will need:

+ The ability to read, write, and speak English.; high school diploma, GED, or equivalent life experience preferred.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a sincere desire to help the elderly.

+ Compassion.

+ A desire to work Full Time at Teresian House after completion of course.
