As a **Security Officer - Logistics Access Attendant** in **Riverside, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.

+ Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, maintaining accurate logs as required.

+ Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors or employees in accordance with site-specific protocols.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and report any suspicious activity.

+ Enforce site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, collaborating with site personnel and emergency responders when needed.

+ Prepare and submit detailed written reports on incidents, observations, and access control activities to Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
