    Key job responsibilities

    • Lead and develop a team of 12+ direct reports, ensuring high performance and professional growth

    • Drive operational excellence across inbound, outbound, and customer support workflows

    • Maintain critical Service Level Agreements (SLAs) including 48-hour receiving and 24-hour request processing

    • Manage financial resources and operational budgets within assigned area

    • Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics

    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control requirements

    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals

    A day in the life

     

    As a Logistics Warehouse Manager, your day starts with reviewing operational metrics and conducting a shift huddle with your team. You'll monitor inbound deliveries, oversee customer support tickets, and ensure outbound operations meet SLAs. Throughout the month, you'll conduct 1:1s with team members, collaborate with stakeholders across AWS, and work on process improvement initiatives. You'll partner with other managers to balance workload, resolve escalations, and ensure smooth operations across all shifts. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency while developing your team's capabilities.

    Basic Qualifications

    - High School diploma or equivalent

     

    - Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent

     

    - 3+ years of people management experience

     

    - Experience in computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field

     

    - Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

     

    - Experience analyzing data to make business decisions

     

    - Experience leading process improvements

     

    - Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

     

    - Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks

     

    - Knowledge of Warehouse Management System Software including Warehouse control systems

     

    - Experience in high-volume, fast-paced logistics environments

     

    - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
