Description

Majority of this position will be coordinating, preparing, and ensuring timely execution of joint agreements and letters of understanding with local agencies to align with project letting schedules. Evaluates and oversees the relocation or modification of utility and railroad infrastructure impacted by planned highway construction projects. Reviews and approves utility permit applications to ensure compliance with established standards and guidelines. Manages utility coordination for upcoming projects, including the development and execution of all necessary agreements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Illinois (Preferred) Five years of experience in civil engineering Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SharePoint, or similar systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. IDOT Documentation Technician Certification or able to attain it within one year Reliable transportation is required as travel to Peoria is required Previous experience with agreements related to transportation construction projects Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
