Job Title: Filling Technician

Job Description

Join our Finished Product Pharmaceutical Facility as a Manufacturing Process Technician to support a brand new product line in response to increased market demand. In this role, you will be involved in loading materials, completing electronic batch records, making log book entries, documenting work orders, and conducting process checks to ensure quality. You will also manage BPR (Batch Packaging Records) for materials loaded and produced. A tech-savvy mindset and ability to suggest process improvements are crucial, as is the ability to address repeated issues by proposing solutions.

Responsibilities

+ Load materials and complete electronic batch records.

+ Make log book entries and document work orders.

+ Conduct process checks to ensure quality.

+ Manage Batch Packaging Records (BPR) for materials loaded and produced.

+ Report and propose solutions for repeated issues on the production line.

+ Communicate effectively and think critically to improve processes.

Essential Skills

+ Tech-savvy with a process improvement mindset.

+ Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

+ Exposure to and understanding of GMP.

+ Interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in Health Care or previous manufacturing experience (GMP).

+ Pharma experience is a plus; experience in food, medical device, or cosmetic industries is necessary due to regulated experience.

+ Bioworks or an Associates in Biotechnology is beneficial.

+ Understanding of working in a manufacturing environment and being on your feet for 12 hours.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing environment with a night 2-2-3 schedule. You will start on day shift Monday through Friday for training, even if hired for night shift, and transition to night shift after a few weeks. The environment can be high-stress due to current workload, but the team is supportive and eager for new team members to succeed. Scrubs and close-toed shoes/work boots are provided, with changing facilities available on-site. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
