    Job Title: Software Test Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Software Test Engineer to manage our automated test systems. This role involves troubleshooting nightly failures, adapting to development changes, collecting test results, running analytics, and maintaining existing tests. You will collaborate closely with multiple engineering teams to identify and resolve testing issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and analyze nightly test failures.

    + Adapt test systems in response to development changes.

    + Collect test results and perform analytics on test data and failures.

    + Maintain and update existing test systems.

    + Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and solve testing issues.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Python and DevOps practices.

    + Experience with GitHub and test automation.

    + Knowledge of embedded firmware.

    + Ability to build Python and TypeScript files for firmware deployment and testing.

    + Experience with deploying firmware into embedded devices and troubleshooting.

    + Familiarity with test and measurement equipment.

    + Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.

    + Understanding of GitHub Actions.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

    + Minimum of 1 year applicable experience through internships, co-ops, or work.

    Work Environment

    The role involves working with automated test systems and collaborating with engineering teams. You will utilize various technologies, including Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, and GitHub Actions, in a dynamic environment focused on firmware testing and deployment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Solon, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
