    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. This is a Contract to permanent opportunity designed for a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in all accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in QuickBooks and demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and attention to detail.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

    • Perform accounts receivable tasks and payables tasks.

    • Utilize QuickBooks Online to record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.

    • Assist in payroll tasks, including supporting third-party payroll systems.

    • Prepare accurate financial reports by leveraging Excel tools like pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

    • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless financial operations.

    • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

    • Contribute to improving processes and workflows for enhanced efficiency.

    • Provide backup support for various accounting functions when needed.

    Requirements

    • At least 2 years of accounting experience with a focus on accuracy and detail.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial transactions.

    • Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger maintenance.

    • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Familiarity with payroll systems and processes is a plus.
