Hiring for CNC Machinists/ High Level Machine Operators in La Vergne, TN

Job Description

Join our team as a CNC Machinist, where you will operate complex production equipment within a dynamic team environment. Utilize manufacturing software and tools to produce and package a variety of products. Follow digital work instructions, blueprints, and schematics to ensure products meet customer specifications and tolerance levels. Execute equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot to maintain sustained production.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and set up automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production process.

+ Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to ensure adherence to product specifications.

+ Monitor meters, gauges, and control systems to ensure production processes meet specified guidelines.

+ Perform equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

+ Make necessary adjustments to equipment and provide feedback for process improvement.

+ Conduct quality control and in-process testing, modifying equipment as needed.

+ Set up and operate a range of machine tools, including mill-turns, mills, lathes, grinders, and powder presses.

+ Align and secure tooling, attachments, and materials onto machines.

+ Modify programs for Robot and Vision Systems, writing product-specific and robot programs as needed.

+ Perform inspections using precision gaging to ensure product quality.

+ Adhere to all safety procedures to maintain a 100% safe work environment.

+ Support Lean Enterprise initiatives for improved quality, reduced waste, and increased productivity.

+ Complete necessary documentation and electronic data entries accurately and timely.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with blueprints, mechanical assembly, and machining.

+ Proficiency in operating lathe and mill machines.

+ Ability to use calipers and other precision measurement tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prefer experience running CNC machines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
