    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Technician with experience in die cast or plastic injection molding. You will be responsible for hydraulic troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, and troubleshooting pick and place robots using a teach pendant. Your role will also include maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure equipment runs properly, setting up new equipment, building manifolds, and troubleshooting production equipment. Additional tasks include fabricating guards, carts, stands, or equipment and working with zinc die cast machines, trim presses, air compressors, and water tower filtration systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and robotic systems.

    + Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule.

    + Ensure proper functioning of equipment.

    + Set up and troubleshoot new equipment.

    + Build manifolds and fabricate necessary components.

    + Work with zinc die cast machines and related equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in die cast or plastic injection mold equipment.

    + Hydraulics troubleshooting expertise.

    + Electrical troubleshooting, including robotic systems.

    + Mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to fabricate guards, carts, and stands.

    + Experience with industrial maintenance and die casting.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is for 1st shift, Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 4 PM, with an optional or half-day on Friday. The plant is part of a larger facility that includes both Aluminum and Zinc die cast operations.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
