Job Title: Maintenance Technician II $28-33/hr

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities. The role requires a robust technical aptitude and the ability to work individually or as part of a team. This position involves working various shifts, with responsibilities escalating based on experience and expertise.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

+ Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for troubleshooting and repair.

+ Use tools such as voltmeters and equipment like gear reducers, motors, cylinders, valves, and actuators.

+ Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ 2+ years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

+ 2+ years of electrical experience (480v).

+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with air circuitry and electronics.

+ Ability to work in high/precarious places and around moving machinery.

+ Comfortable working with changes in temperature, humidity, dust, odors, and fumes.

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing and production environment, which may involve exposure to high and precarious places, moving machinery, and significant changes in temperature and humidity. The environment can be loud, with dust, odors, and fumes. Shift options include the 2nd shift 'Mids' from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a $1.50 shift differential, or the 3rd shift 'Nights' from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday with a $1.75 shift differential. A rotating 'D' shift from 6:45 PM to 6:45 AM is also available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58323.00 - $64792.00/yr.
