Concrete block manufacturer in New Holland, PA is looking for a Parts Coordinator/Maintenance Mechanic on 1st shift. Candidate will be managing the parts/tool room 60% of the time, and helping out with mechanical repair and troubleshooting on the plant floor the remaining 40% of the time. Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic/Parts Coordinator
Job Description
+ Manage the process of receiving, stocking, and quality control of all goods and services, including cost control.
+ Organize, plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of physical inventory and storage areas.
+ Generate work orders and assist the maintenance team by signing out parts.
+ Build and manage CMMS system for all production equipment.
+ Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical component systems for plant equipment.
+ Plan work effectively and keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
+ Collaborate with maintenance and manufacturing personnel to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
+ Quickly assess issues during breakdowns and apply troubleshooting knowledge to repair equipment efficiently.
+ Conduct building and grounds maintenance.
Essential Skills

+ Mechanical troubleshooting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
+ Experience with Fluke/E-Maintenance or similar software.
+ Training or experience in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical motor controls, automotive repair, or diesel mechanics.
+ Knowledge of safety rules related to mechanical and electrical work and OSHA guidelines.
+ Valid driver's license.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Holland, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
