    NOW HIRING 1st Shift Industrial Electrician!

     

    We are looking for a **skilled Industrial Electrician** to join our team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in an industrial environment. You’ll troubleshoot issues with wiring, motors, sensors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), perform preventative and predictive maintenance, and ensure compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

    + Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including faulty wiring, motors, sensors, and PLCs.

    + Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.

    + Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

    + Ensure all work meets local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

    + Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve system performance and minimize downtime.

    + Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

    + Recommend and implement improvements for energy efficiency, reliability, and cost reduction.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of industrial electrical experience.

    + Strong PLC troubleshooting skills.

    + Proficiency with VFDs, motor starters, control panels, and industrial sensors.

    + Ability to work with up to 480 volts and interpret wiring and schematic diagrams.

    + Experience in conduit bending, wire pulling, and mechanical maintenance.

    + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and three-phase systems.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Journeyman’s license or equivalent certification.

    + Experience with solar systems and low-voltage electrical maintenance is a plus.

    Work Environment & Schedule

    + Onsite position with available shifts:

    + **1st Shift:** Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    + **2nd Shift:** Wednesday–Saturday, 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM

    + All new hires train on 1st shift for 30–60 days.

    + Must be comfortable working in Iowa’s seasonal climate, handling heat and cold, managing fast-paced workloads, and tolerating loud noise levels.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $63000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
