    Job Title: Visual Inspector - 2nd Shift

    Job Description

    Join our quality department as a Visual Inspector, where you will play a critical role in identifying and preventing paint scratches and dents during the assembly and manufacturing process. Your primary goal will be to pinpoint where defects occur and implement preventive measures. You will apply a plastic film to truck body parts to limit defects and work independently while maintaining communication with various departments.

    Responsibilities

    + Identify and document defects such as scratches and dents on truck bodies.

    + Apply a protective plastic film to parts of the truck to prevent defects.

    + Work closely with different departments to problem-solve defect issues.

    + Maintain detailed records of defects found and actions taken.

    + Communicate findings and solutions effectively both in writing and verbally.

    Essential Skills

    + 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + High attention to detail for visual inspections.

    + Comfortable working at heights and harnessed on trucks.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proficient in computer operation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous quality experience in any industry is advantageous.

    + Proven problem-solving skills.

    Work Environment

     

    You will be working in a very large, clean, and safety-conscious facility. The role requires occasional use of a flashlight to inspect defects. The work schedule is from 6am-2pm Monday to Friday and 2pm-midnight Monday to Thursday.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Appleton, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.61 - $22.77/hr.
