Job Title: Utilities Supervisor
Reports to: Manager

Job Summary:
+ Maintain a safe and productive work environment, following all applicable regulations

+ Establish and maintain a solid working relationship with both internal departments as well as external resources

+ Collaborate with support areas to ensure Safety, Quality and Cost demands are met.
+ Own the performance of the maintenance area in safety, quality, equipment care, efficiency, innovation, capability and productivity
Responsibilities:
+ Direct, coordinate, lead and mentor the activities of team members.
+ Plan, establish and assign work schedules, assignments, and work orders to ensure department goals are met.
+ Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs for facility equipment.
+ Facilitate team member development and growth by reviewing and managing performance through feedback and coaching as well as documentation.
+ Enforce safety and other applicable rules and regulations.
+ Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
+ Document and follow up on SOP’s
+ Maintain related records, logs, and paperwork.
+ Ensuring all team members are utilizing time effectively
+ Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
+ Observe work and monitor completion of tasks and work orders.
+ Confer with management, peers and others to resolve team member’s problems, complaints, or grievances.
+ Interpret and apply company policies and procedures, specifications, blueprints, and job orders for team members.
+ Coordinate Work Orders, Production, Vendors & Contractors.
+ A general academic education and the ability to understand moderately complex instructions, schedules, reports, equipment, etc
+ Lead and foster a culture that values innovation, personal ownership and overall LG values, through an outcome based approach without compromising safety
+ Strong motivation and a level of urgency in going about daily tasks.
Qualifications:
+ HS Diploma/GED required
+ Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in skilled trades field required
+ Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to communicate changes and provide updates to appropriate personnel and management on all shifts.
+ Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
+ Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, have excellent team building and people skills in order to drive change, be able to handle multiple tasks and have strong organizational skills.
+ Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance procedures, production processes, building and facility maintenance, etc.
