    AFO is looking for a Maintenance Manager to work at the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, NY. The Maintenance Manager supports the USMA, Garrison, and Logistics Readiness Center at West Point, NY by providing comprehensive oversight and coordination of field-level maintenance activities. This role ensures daily sustainment of mission-critical systems and adherence to Army regulations and maintenance reporting standards, always enabling full operational capability.     Responsibilities

    + Coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations and reporting with customer.

    + Validate and submit maintenance readiness reports, including NMC statuses, parts on order, shop stock levels, and high-priority requisitions.

    + Utilize GCSS-Army to track service requests, lateral transfers, and parts ordering.

    + Ensure timely submission of CDRL’s to the COR.

    + Ensure all updates to maintenance records, dispatches, and fault data in GCSS-Army are accurate, timely, and in compliance with Army policy.

    + Coordinate with customer and other supporting maintenance elements to schedule services, repairs, and special technical inspections.

    + Assist with AMRs, CDDP evaluations, and command-level readiness briefings.

    + Maintain proficiency and access to relevant maintenance tools and portals to include but not limited to GCSS-Army.

    + Monitor Maintenance Management Indicators and report trends or anomalies to leadership.

    + Collaborate with PBO to validate accountability and ensure maintenance responsibility aligns with AR 750-1 and AR 735-5 standards.

    Qualifications

    + 10+ years’ experience managing CBA employees and their performance.

    + 5+ years’ experience leading change in a complex, fast paced, military environment.

    + 5+ years’ experience utilizing GCSS-A.

    + Ability to travel up to 25%.

    + Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.

    + Valid drivers license.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Completion of four-year college or technical school program.

    + GCSS-A trained with certificate(s) and proficiency in the operation of the system and tasks associated with running Motor Pool Operations.

    + Knowledge and experience of heavy equipment operation and mechanical repairs, electrical systems, welding, battery installation removal and storage, vehicle air conditioning, with certificate(s).

    + Knowledge and experience with hazardous waste collection, storage, and disposal.

    + OSHA 10/30 certificate - General Industry.

    + LOTO trained with certificate.

    + Forklift operator certification.

    + Knowledge and experience in material handling equipment.

    + Knowledge and experience with applicable Army regulations and directives.

    + Knowledge and experience with DOD, DOT, OSHA, EPA and all AFO safety and maintenance policies; including but not limited to the correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practice.

    + Strong communication, teambuilding, and influencing skills.

    + Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with high expectations.

    + Knowledge and experience with supply documentation, to include hand receipts, sub-hand receipts, and experienced at analyzing and recommending resolutions for recurring documentation problems.
