    Job Details

    Our Nurse Manager for Unit D will:

    + Manage, lead, and support the staff members of the Medical/Surgical unit, promoting safe nursing practice and intervening as needed.

    + Maintain operational aspects of the unit including participating in budget preparation, monitoring resources.

    + Collaborate with human resources to hire and evaluate staff and resolve issues.

    + Attend management meetings and participate on departmental committees.

    + Serve as a clinical and technical resource and role model for staff, applying knowledge to daily practice.

    What you'll bring:

    + Passion for Oncology Nursing

    + 5+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing

    + 2+ years of progressive nurse leadership experience preferred

    + Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required, Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

    + Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration

    + Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)

    + ONS/ONCC® Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification™ required

    + OCN Certification Preferred

     

    Salary Range

     

    USD $133,870.00 - USD $160,665.00 /Yr.

     

    This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
