    About the Job

     

    Brightly Software is seeking a highly motivated and

    experienced **Senior Manager, Marketing Engagement Programs** to

    join our dynamic and growing team. This position is ideal for a strategic,

    customer-centric and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in

    developing, executing, and optimizing integrated marketing engagement programs.

    This role is focused primarily on comprehensive programs to support our channel

    strategies in **event and customer marketing** , and will be

    instrumental in driving excellence via cohesive customer experience and brand

    presence.

     

    What you will do

    Building and optimizing programs

    + Managingengagement programs: Refine, structure and continuously improve event andcustomer marketing engagement programs designed for sustained awareness,engagement and enhanced audience experience.

    + Reimaginecustomer and user events, to include in-person and virtual high valueconnectivity, product education, feedback and insights collection.

    + Extendvalue of all events with hosted surround additions, maintainingexperiential integrity and healthy return on investment.

    + Developcustomer marketing function and help streamline and grow advocacy program

    + Strategicinclusion of events as a channel: Collaborate across the organization,particularly with marketing, revenue (sales and customer success) andproduct, to ensure appropriate programmatic support and promotion forevents.

    + Supportmanagement of speaker program, integrating with content and communicationsstrategy, and working to cross-pollinate and repurpose content to driveefficient internal and external education and engagement.

    + Workacross marketing to create and promote compelling event packages thatdrive attendance, retention and increase value for the attendees andorganization.

    + Lifecyclemessaging and content development: Collaborate with content and creative,product marketing, customer success and technical experts to developcompelling messaging, value propositions, and resources that resonate withacross the customer lifecycle to highlight benefits, features andsolutions to improve their operations.

    + Collaborationand alignment: Work closely with teams across the organization to ensurecohesive branding and communications across the customer experiencelifecycle and align on retention and expansion goals

    Driving planning, execution and measurement

    + Leadingand driving successful documented and repeatable programs: Drive events(tradeshows, hosted, owned and user audiences; in person, hybrid andvirtual); customer marketing, advocacy and/or community support withongoing improvement.

    + Supportdata-led selection, execution, and evaluation of trade shows, road shows,and other similar events.

    + Manageprogram budget with diligence and efficiency, forecasting and reconcilingcosts associated with events.

    + Maintainingvisible overarching program: Proactively build and maintain acomprehensive living calendar of all events, indexed by purpose andaudience.

    + Performancereporting with continuous improvement: Establish and/or validate baselinesfor critical metrics.

    + Track,analyze, and report on the effectiveness of all program initiatives withpartnership across the organization to provide meaningful input inmarketing operations planning and reporting (monthly, quarterly andannual).

    + Usedata-driven insights to proactively identify areas for improvement andimplement optimization strategies to maximize return on investment.

    Collaborative player coaching and servant leadership

    + Leadingmarketing engagement programs team: Guide and support customer andadvocacy; and event (tradeshow, owned, hosted and user) marketing withmanagement of two seasoned professionals.

    + Collaboratingand solving challenges: Collaborate closely with leaders from content,creative and brand strategy and communications for approach and messagingalignment

    + Integratewith marketing: Coordinate across all marketing functions to providecomprehensive results-oriented and customer experience-first guidance andcontributions to awareness, education, demand, retention, expansion andreferral plans and measures.

    What you need

    + **7+years of progressive experience** in marketing and/orcommunications, with an emphasis on **corporate events, customermarketing and user engagement**

    + 2+years of **leadership of a team/project team** managerialcapacity that includes support for professional growth and development ofothers.

    + Provenexperience in **developing, executing, and optimizing corporateevents and audience engagement programs** .

    Familiarity with:

    + Buildingand growing customer marketing functions and creating always onengagement, referral, retention and expansion.

    + Corporatecustomer groups and user communities including advocacy and loyaltyefforts.

    + **Exceptionalwritten communication skills** , with a keen eye for detail, grammar andstyle.

    + **Provenability to create and edit content** to ensure a conveying acompelling customer-first value proposition with clarity and adherence tobrand/messaging/tone and style guidelines

    + **Excellentanalytical skills** with the ability to interpret complex data,derive actionable insights, and drive continuous improvement.

    + **Exceptionalcommunication and presentation skills** , with the ability to articulatecomplex marketing strategies and performance results clearly and conciselyto diverse audiences, including senior executives.

    + **Biastoward informed action and strong initiative to own** theidentification and implementation of channel improvement strategies.

    + Abilityto work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

    + Bachelor'sdegree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalentpractical experience.
