    A Snapshot of Your Day

     

    We are seeking a motivated and experienced finance manager (f/m/d) for our financial execution team for Compression projects. You will be responsible ensuring successful financial controlling of projects in execution from handover to completion, driving project success, fostering team collaboration, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Your day will involve connecting with the team, discussing the project portfolio, developing processes and ways of working, standardizing reporting, engaging with internal partners, leading digitization initiatives, and discussing development plans. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities in finance and project management.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    + Establishing and leading project financial controlling for the project portfolio – including cost recognition, forecasting and reporting – in support of the commercial project managers

    + Driving standardized ways of working, including cross-location WBS harmonization, and reporting for the portfolio, and digitalization initiatives and tools for streamlined and enhanced reporting – to also be rolled out across locationsEnsuring clear, consistent, and timely financial reporting to provide transparency and high-quality financials, including accurate forecasting

    + Collaborating with cross-functional teams – including project management, supply chain, sales, operations, and finance – to align project goals with business objectives

    + Acting as the primary interface between controlling and projects

    + Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction

    + Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas and implement innovative solutions

    + Leading, mentoring, and developing the team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth

    What You Bring

    + Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field - a master’s degree is a plus; a project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus

    + 10+ years of experience within the financial space in a relevant function, such as project management or sales, ideally with first experience in a leadership or supervisory role

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and social skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

    + Passion to simplify and digitize processes and tools for project controlling and reporting

    + Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    + Applicants must be legally authorized foremployment in the United States without need for current or futureemployer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with currentvisa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
