    Job Title: Payroll Coordinator

    Job Description

    This full-time, onsite position is essential for supporting approximately 750 hourly employees. The Payroll Coordinator ensures the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, contributing significantly to the operational and accounting functions of the plant. The role requires flexibility, including working weekends and holidays, to meet deadlines and deliverables.

    Responsibilities

    + Process the bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees and contingent workforce, including payroll accruals.

    + Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley controls are in place and functioning adequately throughout the year.

    + Process payroll deductions and additional earnings in a timely manner.

    + Assist with tracking hourly attendance in accordance with plant policy.

    + Be available onsite to assist employees with payroll questions and respond to inquiries through Service Now.

    + Process incoming garnishment orders, remittances, and set up new vendors.

    + Assist with annual and periodic wage updates for hourly employees by updating spreadsheets for IS and HR.

    + Answer payroll-related questions from hourly employees and develop training for supervisors and employees on payroll comprehension.

    + Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll-related ad hoc requests, including attending meetings and providing input on payroll rules and policies.

    + Perform testing for S/4 updates of the payroll system.

    + Provide general administrative support, including purchasing and requisitioning for emergency orders.

    + Manage time approval for salary personnel's overtime and support data management in SAP.

    + Update training manuals and coordinate meeting attendance and resources.

     

    The position is based onsite, within a large and reputable company in the area. The role offers an opportunity for a contract-to-hire arrangement, with one month of training provided.

    This is a Contract position based out of Hershey, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
