    As a Instrument & Electrical Technician here at Solstice, you will conduct preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting and equipment repair while ensuring high standards of quality and performance. Facilitate equipment testing and repair scheduling, and help resolve technical issues. Develop your skills in a dynamic environment. You will report directly to our Sr. I&E Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Metropolis location on a swing shift work schedule. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and grow within a dynamic and innovative environment.

     

    In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our plant, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will ensure that our products meet the stringent requirements of our customers, enhancing their satisfaction and trust in Solstice's solutions.

     

    The salary range for this role is $62,000 - $83,000

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform electronic assembly tasks according to specifications

    + Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electronic components and systems

    + Ensure the quality and functionality of electronic products

    + Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to meet project deadlines

    + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

    Qualifications

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + 3+ years of experience in an Industrial setting

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

    + Basic understanding of electronic components and circuits.

    WE VALUE

    + Associate degree in Electronics or a related field.

    + Experience with 480V three-phase

    + Chemical plant experience

    + Instrumentation experience

    + Willingness to to take initiative

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    + Ability to complete work as instructed and follow up
