    Job Title: Customer Service Representative

     

    We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative responsible for the fulfillment and management of customer order requirements. This role involves direct and indirect communication with customers through email, phone, or EDI (electronic data interface) to ensure orders are shipped timely and accurately. The representative must adhere to all policies to achieve high levels of efficiency and performance.

    Responsibilities

    + Process orders directly from customers via phone, EDI, and email, ensuring product availability and communicating delivery dates.

    + Monitor orders for correct pricing and work proactively with sales or customers to resolve any issues prior to invoicing.

    + Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with customers and sales representatives.

    + Coordinate order processing and resolve any product availability, shipping, or pricing problems to meet company service objectives.

    + Determine economical shipment and delivery locations in line with customer requirements.

    + Coordinate with shipping schedules and determine shipping dates to ensure timely receipt by customers.

    + Enter all orders continuously into the company order processing system and perform editing to ensure accuracy.

    + Coordinate service requirements with shipping departments or outside warehouses for accurate picking and scheduling of shipments.

    + Monitor the progress of orders to ensure timely and complete deliveries, reviewing open orders daily to maintain accurate status.

    + Inform customers of significant changes affecting product availability and delivery dates, ensuring minimum order requirements are met.

    + Receive sample requests from sales representatives for product demonstrations and communicate these to Sample Coordinators.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of customer service representative experience.

    + 2+ years of high-volume order entry experience

    + Strong oral and written communication skills.

    + Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to maintain professional courtesy when communicating with internal and external customers and suppliers.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email.

    This is a Contract position based out of Ontario, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
