The Senior HR Business Partner acts as a crucial link between the Human Resources department and the business entity, tasked with recommending, developing, and implementing HR strategies to meet organizational developmental objectives. This position requires providing counsel to senior leadership, spearheading talent management and leadership development initiatives, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all HR practice areas, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage complex HR matters independently.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and ensure the organization's values and culture are embedded in daily operations.
+ Provide consultative guidance and support to business leaders on all HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
+ Lead and manage organizational change processes, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.
+ Apply corporate HR processes to optimize organizational design and strategic planning.
+ Provide feedback to the HR department on adjustments of HR strategies to address current and future business needs.
+ Use data and HR metrics to analyze trends, identify challenges, and develop effective, data-backed solutions to improve organizational performance.
+ Partner with business leaders to develop leadership capabilities across all management levels and provide executive-level coaching as required.
+ Facilitate programs and processes for talent acquisition, retention, development, and succession planning.
+ Shape workplace culture by demonstrating a commitment to retention, morale, and employee engagement.
+ Navigate complex employee relations issues, understand multiple viewpoints, and promote a positive and productive workplace.
+ Ensure employee understanding and adherence to corporate policies and local regulatory employment standards.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management; higher level degree in a relevant field is preferred.
+ PHRca - HRCI certification is a must.
+ 10+ years of extensive progressive HR experience, mainly in business partnering or senior advisory roles.
+ Strong background in executive coaching is preferred.
+ Strategic mindset and ability to manage complex HR issues.
+ Ability to work effectively with all levels of internal stakeholders, including C-suite, in a consulting capacity.
+ Analytical skills and ability to interpret HR data into business insights to develop strategic plans.
+ Advanced knowledge of trends, legislative changes, and court interpretations affecting HR matters.
+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to influence and construct logical and persuasive arguments.
+ High degree of discretion and judgment in confidential matters.
+ Advanced proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS, preferably Workday.

+ Knowledge in workforce planning and talent management.
+ Expertise in HR data analytics.
+ Understanding of employment law and compliance.

This is a Permanent position based out of Emeryville, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
