    Product Designer

    Overview

    We are looking for a Product Designer to create exceptional branded digital experiences for both mobile and web platforms. This role will focus on delivering world-class user interfaces, establishing design thinking practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business goals with user needs. The designer will contribute to workshops, design sprints, and prototype testing while advocating for users and ensuring adherence to design best practices and brand consistency. This position requires strong visual design skills and the ability to present work to executive-level stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Own end-to-end design from discovery and strategy through final visual execution and design QA.

    + Partner with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to deliver intuitive, visually compelling solutions.

    + Lead and participate in design thinking workshops, design sprints, and cross-functional collaboration sessions.

    + Create and maintain design systems, templates, and guidelines to ensure consistency across platforms.

    + Present design concepts and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.

    Must-Have Qualifications

    + 3–5 years of experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer, with strong emphasis on visual design.

    + Proven experience designing for both mobile and web platforms (50/50 split).

    + Proficiency in Figma; familiarity with tools like Mural and PM platforms is a plus.

    + Strong portfolio demonstrating visual hierarchy, typography, color, and composition, with examples from concept through launch.

    + Experience with design thinking methodologies, formally or informally.

    Preferred Experience

    + Agency background with ability to work quickly and cross-functionally on diverse projects.

    + Familiarity with banking or fintech is a bonus, but not required.

    This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
