About the role

As a SAP FICA Functional Lead, you will make an impact by driving enterprise-level design and implementation of SAP FI-CA processes for complex financial environments. You will be a valued member of the SAP Consulting team and work collaboratively with finance stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams, as well as clients.

In this role, you will:

1. **Lead enterprise-level design and solutioning for FI-CA processes** , ensuring compliance with financial regulations and operational efficiency.

2. **Manage SAP FICA implementation teams** , driving delivery excellence and adherence to governance frameworks and project timelines.

3. **Prepare and validate detailed Functional and Technical Design Documents (FSDs/TDDs)** for advanced contract accounting scenarios.

4. **Collaborate with finance teams** to ensure accurate contract accounting, reconciliation, and reporting across multiple business units.

5. **Conduct workshops and provide advisory on FICA optimization strategies** , leveraging automation and analytics for improved performance.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a remote position open to qualified applicants in the United States, working Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. What you must have to be considered

+ 12–15 years of experience in **SAP FI-CA** with deep functional expertise.

+ Comprehensive knowledge of **Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)** processes including invoicing, dunning, payment processing, and integration with FI and SD modules.

+ Proven experience in **enterprise-level SAP implementations** and governance frameworks.

+ Ability to prepare and validate **FSDs and TDDs** for complex scenarios.

+ Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

These will help you succeed

+ Exposure to **multi-country implementations** .

+ Familiarity with **automation and analytics tools** for FICA optimization.

+ Experience with **SAP S/4HANA and Fiori** .

+ Knowledge of **tax regulations, audit standards** , and compliance frameworks.
