Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As an Information Technology Intern, you’ll be assigned to teams focused on secure access and virtual infrastructure. Your responsibilities may include:

+ Assisting in the configuration and policy management of gateways.

+ Supporting secure web gateway operations including URL filtering, SSL inspection, and traffic analysis.

+ Troubleshooting connectivity and access issues.

+ Applying zero trust principles to segment applications and enforcing secure access controls.

+ Provisioning and managing virtual machines in environments

+ Monitoring and optimizing virtual machine performance across CPU, memory, disk, and network resources.

+ Supporting backup and recovery operations using snapshotting and disaster recovery tools.

+ Writing basic scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

+ Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

+ Familiarity with networking fundamentals and operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Basic scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

+ Understanding of DNS, IP routing, VPNs, or firewall configurations.

+ Exposure to virtualization platforms.
