    Modality: Special Education Teacher – Resource (K–8)

     

    Local Pay Rate: $48

     

    Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    End Date: May 2026

     

    Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

     

    Interview Format: Virtual with ESS Coordinator & Principal

     

    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a K–8 Resource setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across all grade levels and have experience with self-contained classrooms when needed. This role focuses on delivering Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) and managing a diverse caseload while collaborating with general education teachers and support staff.

     

    Caseload Details

     

    + 30–35 students, determined on a sliding scale based on enrollment and number of case managers.

    + Resource setting with flexibility for self-contained services if required.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals.

    + Manage IEP case files and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

    + Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.

    + Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

    Qualifications

    + Valid Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Special Education Certification.

    + IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

    + Experience in resource and self-contained settings preferred.
