Kerry is the world's leading taste and nutrition company for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries and we are hiring a Manager Process Technology to support one of our biggest manufacturing facilities located in Evansville, IN. The manager will critically analyze the current situation in the manufacturing plant and execute plans to bring a step change. We are looking for passion for engineering, high level of analytical ability, and willingness to go against the grain. We are seeking people who are creative and execute lean solutions.

About the role..

The role is divided into two broad workstreams-

Capital project execution

+ Lead small capital projects (less than $100K) from ideation to commissioning.

+ As part of the above, manage stakeholder communication, schedule, budget and risks.

+ Ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards and HSE standards.

Continuous improvement

+ Discuss chronic issues with the team to get a deep understanding, analyze data, develop, and execute processes to improve safety, quality, and productivity of our manufacturing operations.

+ Develop processes and specifications to support the manufacturing of new products or to improve existing product lines.

+ Assist in troubleshooting the production process to eliminate production losses and down time due to contamination, equipment malfunction and human error.

+ Facilitate continuous improvement events resulting in employee skill and knowledge development and KPI performance improvements.

Qualifications

Qualifications

+ BS/MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial or similar)

+ 10+ Years in a project engineering or improvement role with prior experience and demonstrated proficiency leading events utilizing established process improvement methodologies

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Food, consumer goods, chemical, or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred

+ Experience with packaging equipment, e.g., baggers and palletizers preferred, but not required

The pay range for this position is $89,175 - $150,253 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and Location . In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
