As an **Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer** here at Honeywell, you will leverage your expertise to design and develop innovative mechanical systems that meet the needs of our customers while adhering to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Mason, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge technologies that enhance performance and reliability in various applications, contributing to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Design and develop advanced mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

+ Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to validate design performance and reliability.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and software components.

+ Lead and mentor multiple designs through ownership and accountability.

+ Serve as a trusted advisor and delegate as appropriate to deliver successful outcomes.

YOU MUST HAVE

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.

+ 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.

+ Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and design methodologies.

+ Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks and AutoCAD, for creating and modifying detailed designs.

+ Experience with simulation tools for stress analysis and thermal analysis to validate designs.

+ Experience with engineering analysis tools and methodologies, including FEA and GD&T.

WE VALUE

+ Advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

+ Experience in the material handling sector.

+ Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to mechanical design.
