Your main tasks and responsibilities:

+ **Surface Preparation** : Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grit blasting, and masking as necessary to ensure proper adhesion of thermal spray coatings.

+ **Air Spray Application** : Apply paints and/or slurries using HVLP/conventional spray equipment.

+ **Material Selection** : Select appropriate materials based on project requirements and specifications.

+ **Quality Control** : Inspect coated surfaces for uniformity, thickness, and adherence to standards.

+ **Documentation** : Maintain accurate records of coating parameters, material usage, and process details.

+ **Safety Compliance** : Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of air spray equipment.

+ **Collaboration** : Work closely with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet production goals and quality standards.

+ **Maintenance and Troubleshooting** : Perform routine maintenance on air spray equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the coating process.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

+ **Experience** : Previous experience in air spraying is preferred. Ability to learn turbomachinery equipment basics.

+ **Attention to Detail** : Precision and meticulousness in coating application to achieve consistent results.

+ **Safety Consciousness** : Strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols. Ability to safely operate forklifts.

+ **Team Player** : Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

+ **Documentation Skills** : Accurate record-keeping and documentation.

+ **Physical Stamina** : The role involves standing, lifting, and working in a variety of environments. Physical ability to work in a shop environment.

+ **Shift Availability** : This is a day shift position. Be available to work overtime when necessary.
