As a Materials Mgmt Analyst II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our materials management processes, ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
You will report directly to our Materials Management Manager and you’ll work out of our Acton, MA location.
In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of our supply chain by managing inventory levels, analyzing material requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials. Implement material intercompany purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within Honeywell [BA], to ensure correct supply levels for operation. You are responsible to resolve material related issues due to supply based problem, inventory errors or demand changes. You are the liaison of cross functions and internal stakeholders, such as planning, operations, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
+ Solve material related problems
+ Ensure timely material ordering
+ Engineering Change Requests
+ Ensure compliance with Honeywell Operating System
+ Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental compliance
+ Participate and lead line of balance meeting with procurement and production
+ Provide data and analysis
+ Escalate shortages and potential shortages
+ Open Order Report-Action messages
+ Past Due order Reports-follow up with Buyer
+ Shortage/Expediting
YOU MUST HAVE
+ 5+ years of experience in Planning
+ Experience with MRP/ERP Systems/SAP
+ Experience in manufacturing planning
WE VALUE
+ 2-year degree
+ Ability to work independently and take direction from others
+ Established skills and experience in Materials management
+ Detailed-oriented, accuracy of work is critical to factory performance, customer satisfaction
+ Priority setting, sense of urgency and timing are vital to successfully performing this role
