Position Summary
The Dietary Director is responsible for overseeing the overall nutritional care of residents and managing the Dietary Department staff to ensure high-quality food service for residents, staff, and visitors. This role ensures compliance with facility, regulatory, and budgetary guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and supervise dietary staff to maintain quality standards in food service.
Review and implement nutritional programs in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure adherence to capital asset accounting and SOX compliance during operations.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Facility Administrator.

Skills and Requirements
High school diploma required.
Completion of an approved Diet Technician or Dietary Manager course.
Must be a Registered Diet Technician (DTR) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or eligible for examination.
Proficient in basic keyboarding and computer skills.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
Good physical and mental health; legible handwriting.
